To inhale the very substance of what surrounds you. To breathe in your thoughts and feelings that are colored by the world in which you are watching. To draw up your strengths into your lungs and expell your weaknesses. To become one with where you are placed and to be at peace with it. That is breathing!

Prayer is my time to talk to God and reconnect with Him. I can let go of all my fears and worries, pressures of life are lifted in an instant! I can ask Him for help for myself to grow stronger in Him, for my friends to find Him, and for Him to help those that need to see His hand then. Prayer is my peace and my refuge.

Winter is a crisp and cold time to start anew. We can fellowship with family over the holidays and show appreciation to those we love. It's a time to snuggle close by fires and under blankets. It's a time to suck in air so cold you feel your lungs purified suddenly. It's a time to wipe the slate clean and start over as fresh as new-fallen snow. It's a time to re-evaluate and ponder those thoughts that have hidden. It's a time to discover and explore, re-think and adjust, sit idly and do so much, be content and feel loved.

I am in the Dominican Republic right now on a mission trip. God has been motivating me greatly as of recent and all the new sights, experiences, and culture has been motivating and inspiring me a lot lately. All of the new has brought the old things into perspective and has help me set my new goals for the year.

I enjoy learning more, gaining more depth and knowledge that, naturally, comes with age. By getting older, we get more experience and more skills. I will be better because of the life and years that have past me. Personally, I believe we get more frail as we get older because if our bodies didn't start to give out on us, we'd become unstoppable with our skills and unsurpassed knowledge. I look forward to getting older also because I fell that the older you are, the more duty you have to give gifts of your knowledge to those around you, especially to those younger that you. I enjoy the sharing of something that betters each other and ourselves.
